“You, like all others, are seeking the joy of living.
You wish to be needed, to be loved, to be included
in the great drama of life.”

~ Dr. Ernest Holmes ~

The Science of Mind helps us to see how to efficiently use the mind to create a life of well-being, self-sufficiency, and joy.  The best use of the mind is to engage it in the now moment, the task at hand, and to be fully engaged, and compassionately responsive.

Quite often we find ourselves misusing our mind, keeping it immersed in thoughts of the past, the memory.  Or in the future, the imagination.  When we are thinking our life should be better or different and we have repetitive thoughts of the past, this can cause mental patterns of regret, shame, and discontent.  And with repetitive thoughts of the future, this can cause mental patterns of frustration, comparison, “not enough”, “something is wrong”, and dissatisfaction.

Being focused in the now moment is the sweet-spot, where the joy lives.  Joy isn’t experienced in the past or the future, it is always in the present moment.  Befriend your mind, use your memory for thinking about the good times, and use your imagination for visioning a bright future.  Keep your mind focused on what’s working, what’s good in your life, and respond with love and you will unleash joy into the world!

“Look at the word responsibility – ‘response-ability’ – the ability to choose your response.  Highly proactive people recognize that responsibility.  They do not blame circumstances, conditions, or conditioning for their behavior.  Their behavior is a product of their own conscious choice, based on values, rather than a product of their conditions, based on feeling.”

~ Steven Covey ~

What do you value most in life? I think all of us can agree that love, health, peace of mind, good relationships, kindness, and happiness are valuable to us. Are you taking responsibility for these things? Are you committed to your values? Do you have a firm intention to manifest these values in your life?

If so, make a commitment to yourself to be more loving, make healthy choices, meditate, be a good friend, be kind to everyone, and choose happy thoughts. The law of attraction says, we attract what we are. You have the ability to respond to life from your most spiritually mature and authentic self – expect miracles!

P.S.  This Sunday come share the love and hear my talk, Radical Responsibility, see you Sunday!

4/6/2018 Ali’s Spiritual Wisdom

Taking radical responsibility is empowering and liberating.  Make the choice to live in the principles of Oneness, Wholeness, and Truth, knowing that no person, place, situation, or thing is the source of your supply, that the Spirit within you is. Have faith and trust that there is a dimension of absolute peace, joy, creativity, inspiration, guidance, and love available to you ALL THE TIME!

Simply tune-in to it by accepting this Truth.  This might be unacceptable to the ego and you might get a little push back.  Stay connected with this Truth through meditation, contemplation, and spiritual studies.  Release all negative judgements, complaining, worry.  Practice HEARTFULNESS – that is mindfullness with love and compassion.  And you will align yourself with a more beautiful life your heart knows is possible.  Your only role here in Earth School is to reveal love.

Affirmations

I take radical responsibility for my life

I choose Oneness, Wholeness, and Truth

I am empowered to live the highest and truest expression of myself

I trust that the Spirit within me is my source and supply

I easily reveal peace, creativity, and joy in my everyday life

I practice heartfulness and reveal love

I am awake to my divinity and live from that awareness now
